Truth and Reconciliation Partnerships

The Truth and Reconciliation Partnerships division of TIPI Group of Companies provides a customized approach to assisting clients on their Reconciliation Journey.

Where are you on your Reconciliation journey?

No matter where your organization is on its journey, we walk alongside you to explore what meaningful reconciliation looks like in practice. From examining your mission, values, and partnerships to strengthening engagement with Indigenous communities, we support thoughtful reflection and purposeful action. With guidance from Elders and Knowledge Keepers, we help you define practical, measurable steps that embed reconciliation into the heart of your work.

Truth2Action: Reconciliation for Business

Truth2Action  is an initiative from the TIPI Group of Companies to provide an Awareness Program for organizations who have committed to the Truth & Reconciliation Commission's Call to Action #92 - Business & Reconciliation.

This Awareness Program combines an online, self-paced learning platform with an in-depth review to develop a roadmap for you to redefine your workplace standards and culture.

Truth & Education Phase

Consists of 10 one-hour, self-paced chapters that include multi-media elements, online quizzes, and virtual coaching. Participants will leave this program with an action plan on how they can make a difference.

Chapters Include:

  1. Pre-contact
  2. Contact
  3. Legislation
  4. Residential Schools
  5. Child Welfare
  6. Sixties Scoop
  7. The Justice System
  8. Missing and Murdered Women and Girls
  9. Truth and Reconciliation
  10. Reflection and Application

Reconciliation & Action Phase

When the Knowledge Program has been completed, the second requirement of Truth2Action is to make changes to create more welcoming spaces for Indigenous people.

Through a series of document reviews, analysis of best practices, a cultural competence survey, and employee interviews, we will provide you and your team with a roadmap of recommendations.

These recommendations can then be actioned to establish an inclusive workplace and address colonialism, discrimination, implicit bias, and racism.
